Poissy Galore

Poissy Galore is a series of public buildings and pavilions designed by HHF Architects and AWP for the Parc du Peuple de l’Herbe, a 113-hectare green space along the Seine. Set within a landscape of water, grassland, paths, and ecological habitats, the project gives the park several points of orientation and public use.

The programme includes an observatory, an insects museum, a visitor centre, and smaller pavilions. The steel observatory rises as a clear vertical marker, offering views over the surrounding landscape, the lake, and the Seine. The museum and visitor centre are more discreet: low timber structures shaped by simple forms, filtered light, and a close relation to the ground.

The buildings work as small landmarks within the park, supporting exhibition, observation, gathering, and orientation without dominating the landscape.
